Job summary

Tricoci University of Beauty Culture in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Day Cosmetology Teacher to educate and mentor aspiring beauty professionals during daytime classes.

You will create dynamic lesson plans, deliver instruction through demonstrations and hands-on practice, and monitor student progress with assessments and feedback.

Requirements include a valid Indiana Cosmetology license and a valid Indiana Cosmetology Teacher License; teaching experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in cosmetology with a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create dynamic lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and align with current industry trends
• Deliver high-quality instruction through a variety of teaching methods including hands-on demonstrations, lectures, and practical exercises
• Monitor student progress through assessments and provide timely and constructive feedback on performance
• Promote a positive and productive learning environment that fosters student engagement and collaboration
• Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development initiatives to enhance teaching skills and education quality

Requirements

What We Are Looking For:

• A valid Cosmetology license in the state of Indiana
• A valid Cosmetology Teacher License in the state of Indiana
• Hands-on experience in the cosmetology field along with a passion for teaching
• Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage diverse students effectively

Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
