Empire Beauty School in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Assistant Director for the Cosmetology School to lead operations, ensure compliance, oversee admissions, and support student success. Qualifications

Management experience is required and operational management experience is preferred.
School leadership experience in a post-secondary environment is a plus.
Proven ability to effectively lead a team, manage budgets, and achieve operational goals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing accreditation and/or compliance is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to implement and execute established policies and procedures.
Experience with student admissions/enrollment is a bonus.
A Vocational Diploma, or an Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee school operations across all functions within the Indianapolis, IN Cosmetology School.
Advise on educational requirements and conduct orientations for students.
Observe classroom and salon activities and maintain student records.
Ensure enrollment, attendance, progress toward graduation, licensure, and placement are addressed.
Collaborate with the School Director to ensure continuous management coverage during school hours.
