Job summary

IBMC College invites a licensed cosmetologist to join Fort Collins campus as a full-time Cosmetology Instructor. You will deliver curriculum and supervise hands-on clinic work, guiding students in a real-world salon setting.

Day and evening shifts, Monday through Friday, with additional events as needed. This role offers a supportive team, modern equipment, and opportunities to mentor the next generation of cosmetology professionals.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Cosmetology License.
• Passion for education and mentoring.
• Professional experience in Cosmetology.
• 3-5 years (4,000 hours verified) salon and/or clinic floor experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class/clinic floor instruction and hands-on training as required by course content.
• Substitute teach approved classes or support clinic floor activities as requested by Cosmetology Program Manager.
• Prepare for classroom lecture and hands-on training activities daily.
• Complete administrative work required per class including grading, curriculum support and tutoring students.
• Attend department, campus, and company meetings as requested by Cosmetology Program Manager.
• Participate in educator and professional development as required by credentialing agency.
• Ensure all compliance requirements are met when providing instruction in classes and on the clinic floor.
• Maintain confidentiality of all work information.

Evening: Tuesday- Friday 4:30pm - 10:00pm and Saturday 10:00am - 4:00pm

Position Purpose:

Deliver educational curriculum and lesson knowledge to students in a classroom/clinic floor setting.

Essential Duties

• Participate in educator and professional development as required by credentialing agency.
• Ensure all compliance requirements are met when providing instruction in classes and on the clinic floor (state and national requirements).
• Maintain confidentiality of all work information.
