Job summary

Concorde Education, LLC seeks independent cosmetology and beauty enrichment instructors to work with K-12 students across partner schools and community sites. Most assignments are after-school, 1-4 instructional hours weekly, with rolling start dates and durations of 8–10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional or instructional backgrounds may include cosmetology and beauty-related fields.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, or working with school-age students is preferred.
• Strong communication and group facilitation skills, plus ability to demonstrate techniques safely.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging cosmetology and beauty enrichment sessions.
• Introduce students to cosmetology skills, techniques, and career pathways.
• Demonstrate hairstyling, nail art, makeup artistry, beauty design and color theory.
• Create hands-on activities and projects based on age and experience.
• Encourage creativity, confidence, professionalism, and positive self-expression.
• Adapt activities to materials, resources, objectives, and site requirements.
• Maintain safe, inclusive, age-appropriate practices.
• Communicate assignment-related needs or concerns when appropriate.
• Complete a brief session-completion form after sessions.
