Job Description

The Cosmetologist will be responsible for providing professional facial and cosmetic treatments offered on the current Salon treatment menu to clients for hygienic, therapeutic, leisure purposes. Holds the potential to become a part-time position.

Responsibilities

1. Know and share information about the hotel activities and promotions, demonstrate this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation and hotel/activity information to our guests and employee partners.
2. Maintains up to date knowledge of all treatments and services offered on the current salon treatment menu, as well as trends and developments within the professional spa community related to products, treatment and techniques.
3. Awareness to all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners.
4. Provides Salon hair, nail, facial and body treatments in accordance with established Omni standards and protocols within the assigned structure.
5. Conducts tours of the Salon and related facilities.
6. Participates in periodic product inventory as scheduled.
7. Communicates availability with Spa Director on a biweekly basis.

Qualifications

1. Must have a valid Texas Cosmetology Operator license.
2. Must have a valid TABC certification in the state of Texas.
3. Dazzle dry certification preferred but not required.
4. Must be 18 years of age.
5. Ability to stand for several hours.
6. Must be extremely customer focused.
7. Must have a flexible schedule especially during weekends, and holidays.
