Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Part-time, flexible, and event-based bookings (primarily around Wake Forest University and the Winston-Salem area)

Pay: Commission-based, with rates dependent on:

• Utilization (how often you're booked)
• Experience level
• Specialties (coloring, silk presses, natural hair expertise, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Perform trims, natural styling, blowouts, and silk presses
• Bonus: Provide color services (if experienced)
• Travel to Wake Forest University campus and nearby areas as needed
• Provide personalized consultations and recommend hair care products
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment
• Communicate promptly with GHL team and clients
• Represent GHL’s values of inclusivity, excellence, and empowerment

Qualifications:

• Active NC Cosmetology License
• Experience with natural hair textures is a plus
• Reliable transportation (due to on-campus travel)
• Willing to sign an NDA
• Must pass a background check
• A portfolio of past work (Instagram/Website accepted)
