Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science such as chemistry, biology, or physics.
• 1–3 years of lab experience, ideally in cosmetics.
• Strong color perception and color matching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Make daily lab batches as assigned by chemist or lab manager.
• Assist color chemist with shades counter-matching.
• Prepare samples for client submissions (lipsticks, powders, lip-gloss).
• Prepare paperwork for formula submissions and document batch specs.
• Perform testing on formulations (viscosity, volatiles, break points).
• Maintain organized records in formulation databases.
• Ensure inventory of raw materials is stocked and updated.
• Assist in developing new shades and formulations.
• Organize the laboratory and track all materials.
• Maintain and organize the color library.
