Job summary

Mary Kay Inc. is seeking a Full-time Manufacturing Operator to assemble and process cosmetics and personal care products. You will operate pumps, mills, mixers, and kettles to compound bulk products, while documenting procedures, maintaining batch records, and ensuring accurate labeling and GMP compliance.

The role requires basic math, teamwork, and the ability to move heavy materials. Training includes forklift operation, strict safety practices, and adherence to lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required; metric system used to reweigh raw materials and finish bulk.
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute in department meetings to develop problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles (5S, WPO) is desirable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college chemistry knowledge beneficial for mixing materials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble piping, filters, hose connections, and bottom valves; operate processing equipment to compound cosmetics and personal care products.
• Document and verify batching procedures, calculate yields, and ensure proper labeling.
• Maintain clean GMP-compliant work areas; perform GMP/Safety Audits and inventory adjustments as needed.
• Assist other technicians and support transfer of finished product to packaging or warehouse.
