Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• 2+ years automotive paint repair or related experience preferred.
• Experience with paint correction, polishing, spot repair, and quality inspection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and painted components, identify defects, determine repairability, and elevate non-repairable conditions.
• Perform wet sanding, polishing, touch-up, scratch repair, chip repair, clear coat correction, minor run/sag correction, and spot refinishing.
• Evaluate red-tagged vehicles, perform approved repairs, install missing components, verify completion, and document rework activities.
• Verify color match, gloss, appearance standards, and support quality audits.
• Maintain repair, polishing, sanding, and spray equipment while safely handling paints and chemicals.
• Support defect reduction initiatives and recommend process improvements.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment when certified.
• Work independently and maintain accurate repair documentation.
