Job summary

Club Car is seeking a Paint & Rework Technician to inspect, repair, and restore cosmetic paint defects on completed vehicles and perform rework on red-tagged units. You will help reduce scrap, improve throughput, and ensure customer-ready products meet Club Car quality standards.

Key duties include defect evaluation, wet sanding, polishing, color matching, and maintaining spray equipment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• 2+ years automotive paint repair or related experience preferred.
• Experience with paint correction, polishing, spot repair, and quality inspection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and painted components for defects and determine repairability.
• Perform cosmetic paint repair, wet sanding, polishing, and touch-up work.
• Address red-tagged units with approved rework and documentation.
• Verify color match, gloss, and appearance to meet quality standards.
• Maintain repair and spray equipment, follow safety protocols for paints/chemicals.
• Support continuous improvement and report recurring issues.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment when certified.
