We're looking for a skilled and experienced Cosmetic Formulation Chemist to join our Research & Development team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing innovative skincare and cosmetic products from concept to commercialization. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and improve formulations for a wide range of cosmetic products, including skincare, haircare, and makeup.
• Conduct in-depth research on raw materials, active ingredients, new trends, and technologies to drive product innovation.
• Optimize product textures, stability, fragrance, and functionality through rigorous ingredient research and testing.
• Perform stability and compatibility testing to ensure the integrity and performance of formulations.
• Ensure all formulations comply with global cosmetic industry regulations and safety assessments (e.g., FDA, EU).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, packaging, and production to align on product objectives and enhance performance.
• Maintain accurate records, formulation specifications, and comprehensive development documentation.
• Apply innovative research findings to product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on formulation experience in the cosmetics or personal care industry.
• Strong understanding of formulation design, ingredient interactions, and the functionality of various raw ingredients (emulsions, surfactants, actives, polymers, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of cosmetic industry regulations and product safety testing.
• Proven ability to conduct raw material analysis and apply innovative research to product development.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• A proven track record of successfully bringing formulations from concept to final production is highly preferred.
• Experience with clean, natural, or organic formulations is a plus.

This full-time, in-office position is primarily focused on R&D and formulation. Candidates with experience solely in quality control or analytical testing are not a match for this role.
