Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a driven Continuous Improvement Engineer to advance COS initiatives across divisions. You will partner with global teams to drive operational excellence, safety, and quality through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

The role focuses on improving safety, on-time delivery, cost management, and plant performance by leading Kaizen events, coaching teams, and sustaining 5S, TPM, and visual mgmt programs. Travel is 50%–80% annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lean Certification or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Analyze current operations using Value Stream Mapping, gap analysis, and Lean tools
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events and improvement initiatives

• Partner with plant leadership to align operational excellence strategies with business goals
• Establish measurable standards and ensure sustainability of improvements
• Mentor plant COS champions and support steering committee activities

This role partners closely with global and divisional COS leadership teams to drive operational excellence, employee engagement, and measurable business results across manufacturing facilities.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional overtime and weekend work required
• Travel requirement: 50%–80% throughout the year
