Work Hours: Rotational

Position Description:

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Underground Fixed Maintenance Technician on our Conveyor crew at our Cortez operations.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance and repair of surface and underground fixed mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, etc.
Basic knowledge of conveyor systems, required
Ability to troubleshoot and complete repair on jaw crushing systems, required
Basic fabrication skills including welding, cutting, brazing, arc welding, and air arc, required
Ability to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size, and type, preferred
Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and ability to troubleshoot and repair systems, preferred
Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools, preferred
Excellent safety and attendance record, required
Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the job, required
