Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Maintenance Technician to join the Process team in Nevada. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of processing equipment within a safe, high-performing environment.

Ideal candidates will have mills, gearboxes and pumps experience, strong safety compliance, and the ability to work rotating shifts; you will join a collaborative, dynamic team with opportunities across Nevada Gold Mines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of processing equipment per manufacturer requirements.
• Maintain and repair Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes, agitators, pumps, crushers and conveyors.
• Contribute to maintenance on crushers, screens, and related processing equipment.

Position Description:

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Process Maintenance Technician to join the Process team.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate should possess machinist/millwright skills and a background in preventive maintenance is preferred. Responsibilities will include maintenance and repair of processing equipment in accordance to manufactures requirements. Other duties as assigned. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball and SAG mills, gear boxes and agitators, centrifugal pumps, vibrating screens, process crushing and conveying maintenance, perform crushing and conveying maintenance on equipment including, but not limited to: cone, gyratory, and jaw crushers and several types and configurations of conveyor belting structures, both fixed and mobile; and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• One or two years' millwright experience in a mining or industrial field preferred
• Knowledge of computer operation preferred
• Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision required
• Ability to stay alert and recognize possible hazardous conditions required
• Proven safe work record with belief and value seen in courageous leadership model required
• Ability to be an initial team member in a growing, fast paced environment required
• Knowledge of state and federal health and safety regulations required
• Ability to recognize possible hazardous conditions required
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
