Job summary

ND Paper is seeking a Wet End Operator to support the corrugator line in Sturtevant, WI. This cross-trained role moves across stations, handling roll changes, threadings, and quality checks to minimize downtime and waste.

You will work 1st shift (6AM–3PM) and collaborate with the Corrugator team to ensure consistent production and safe operations. The position emphasizes learning multiple stations, strict adherence to safety, and development into full machine operator roles within the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; production experience helpful.
• Corrugated/paper industry experience preferred but not required.
• Overhead crane or forklift certification a plus; certification can be obtained on the job.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening per plant policy.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train across corrugator stations (splicer, bridge/preheaters, single facer, double backer, slitter/scorer, knife/stacker) to support production.
• Provide break relief and coverage without disrupting run sequences.
• Perform visual quality checks on running board and report defects with proper codes.
• Follow safety protocols (LOTO, PPE) and maintain cleanliness on the corrugator floor.
