Job summary

International Paper is hiring for a Corrugator Utility on the 2nd shift at the Griffin, GA location. The role supports corrugator operations and reports to corrugator supervisors, with duties including roll preparation, roll changes, cleaning, material handling and safety compliance.

The position requires English literacy, ability to read measurements, basic math, and teamwork; forklift and clamp truck certification preferred. IP offers comprehensive benefits and long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certified ability to safely operate a forklift truck and clamp truck.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler; basic shop math.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Assist operators with preparing rolls for splices and order changes.
• Perform other corrugator crew duties during breaks as needed.
• Change corrugator flute rolls when roll changes are needed.
• Assist with daily cleaning of the machine and work area.
• Unload, receive and store corrugator raw materials as assigned.
• Participate in roll stock inventories and maintain records.
