Job summary

Pratt Industries is hiring a CORRUGATOR STACKER OPERATOR in a full-time role. No experience required. Pay starts at $20.00 per hour with shift differential. You will stack sheets from the corrugator, assist crew, and help maintain equipment while following the production schedule.

The position offers day one benefits and opportunities for internal promotion. On 3rd shift, Sunday 9pm–6am and Mon–Thu 10pm–6am. Pratt hires from within and supports tuition reimbursement after 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to apply basic math concepts to work tasks.

Responsibilities

• Relay messages to proper personnel regarding needed adjustments.
• Assist corrugator crew as assigned by supervisor.
• Turn in maintenance work orders for repairs and help maintain equipment.
• Adhere to production schedule.
• Back up Slitter Operator and Doublebacker when needed.
• Place protective sheets and verify unit counts.
• Operate corrugator lines and unitizer.
• Read corrugator lineups and restack units as required.
• Support training of dry end personnel and follow safety rules.

CORRUGATOR STACKER OPERATOR

Job Type: Full-time

Responsible for all activities associated with stacking sheets from the corrugator including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.

9pm - 6am Sunday

10pm-6am Monday-Thursday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Relay messages to proper personnel promptly regarding necessary adjustments.

Assist Corrugator crew as assigned by supervisor.

Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.

Adheres to production schedule.

Learn to back up Slitter Operator and Doublebacker when necessary.

Place protective top and bottom sheets and insert tie sheets when applicable.

Count and verify unit and inch counts of units.

Insure proper load tags are in each unit.

Operate corrugator conveyor lines and unitizer.

Learn to read corrugator lineups.

Restack, flip stack, and handband units as necessary.

Assist in the training of dry end personnel.

Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.

Additional duties may be assigned by management.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school or equivalent (Required)

Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.

Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.

Able to apply concepts of high school math.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.

The individual must have a working knowledge of the following:

May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
