Job summary

Pratt Internal Career Site is seeking a Corrugator Stacker Operator for the 3rd shift in the United States, New York area. The role covers setup, operation, cleanup, and process improvements for stacking sheets from the corrugator.

Typical duties include reading production sheets, counting units, applying load tags, and operating conveyor lines and unitizers while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work a 2nd shift position.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy up to 1/16" variance.
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Self-motivated with professional attitude and conduct.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, and multiply.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, physical, and Caetus Aptitude testing.

Responsibilities

Shifts Available: 3rd Shift

Hourly Rate: $19.50

The Corrugator Stacker Operator is responsible for all activities associated with stacking sheets from the corrugator including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to read production sheets and adhere to production schedule.
• Count and verify unit and inch counts of units.
• Ensure proper load tags are in each unit and appearance meets plant requirements.
• Operate corrugator conveyor lines and unitizer.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
• Quickly identify any quality defects and communicate immediately to machine operators.
• Conducts quality checks using micrometer, tape measure, etc.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have A High school diploma or GED

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Must have basic computer skills (Data Entry).

PREFERRENCES:

• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.
• 6 months’ experience in the corrugator.
