Job summary

Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. in Houston seeks a production operator to assist in safely running our corrugated converting equipment, including setup, operation and cleanup.

You will follow safety rules, read diagrams, feed machines with raw materials and record production in our ERP system. This is a full-time role in a manufacturing setting, with a strong emphasis on ISO compliance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Works well with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
• Uphold all ISO policies and procedures in accordance with our Quality Policy.
• Work from written instructions, diagrams and production cards.
• Feed converting machines with raw materials.
• Record production statistics within our ERP system.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
