Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. (BCI) is seeking a Machine Operator for our Cedar Falls, IA plant to assist in safely running corrugated converting equipment, including setup, operation and cleanup.

The 1st shift runs Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm. The role requires following safety rules, maintaining a clean work area, and contributing to ISO quality policies while recording production data in our ERP system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read and follow written instructions.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Team player with dependable work ethic.
• Quality and results oriented.
• Professional attitude and even-tempered under pressure.
• Capable of following written, oral, or graphic instructions.
• Problem solving in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules at all times.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
• Uphold ISO policies and procedures in accordance with our Quality Policy.
• Work from written instructions, diagrams and production cards.
• Feed converting machines with raw materials.
• Record production statistics within our ERP system.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Full-time role in a manufacturing setting.
