Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. is seeking a Senior Corrosion Technician to support external corrosion control across Western North Dakota, including Belfield and Killdeer. You will work with coatings, cathodic protection, and field surveys to ensure integrity of facilities.

The role requires 3–5 years in corrosion control, with experience in coatings, electrical testing, and interpreting maps. NACE CP certification is preferred. Heavy field work and travel are expected.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of related corrosion control experience.
  • Experience with coatings and cathodic protection in field environments.
  • Experience reading maps, diagrams, plats, and test reports.
  • Experience with NACE CP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced support with installation, maintenance, and monitoring of corrosion control systems.
  • Perform NDT on facilities and test points.
  • Install, test, adjust, and repair rectifiers and anodes.
  • Troubleshoot interference/foreign contact problems and perform soil resistivity tests.
  • Inspect and calibrate cathodic protection tools and equipment.
  • Complete and update reports and financial/gov't documentation as required.
  • Travel to job sites and drive company vehicles.
  • Follow safety procedures and respond to emergencies as needed.

Employee focused.****JOB SUMMARY**Corrosion Technician will support external corrosion control activities in Western ND including coatings and cathodic protection.**Job Profile Summary** Performs an advanced level of activities involved in the design and maintenance of corrosion control systems. **Essential Functions and Responsibilities*** Provide advanced level of support with installation, maintenance, and monitoring of corrosion control systems* Non-Destructive Testing on facilities* Install, test, adjust, and/or repair rectifiers, anodes, and test points* Troubleshoot and repair interference/foreign contact problems* Perform continuity tests and soil resistivity surveys and other special surveys* Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and/or repair cathodic protection tools and equipment* Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles* Complete and/or update reports and documents including but not limited to: + Test readings + Atlas pages, maps, plats, and diagrams + Job orders and completion reports + Equipment maintenance reports* Compile, verify, and/or prepare financial information including, but not limited to: + Forecasted versus actual expenses + Governmental/regulatory reports + Financial reports + Reconciliation reports* Measure internal, external and atmospheric corrosion per industry standards* Responsible for conducting environmental activities as specified by position* Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline.
