Lake Superior Consulting seeks a Corrosion Engineering Intern in Nashville to support pipeline integrity projects within the Corrosion Control group. The role offers hands-on learning across design, field support, and reports in a collaborative office setting.

The ideal candidate is a current sophomore or junior engineering student with strong MS Office skills, effective communication, and a willingness to travel up to 25% to support field work and project needs.

Qualifications

• Current sophomore or junior engineering student.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Support contracting, design, pipeline integrity management, and commissioning for pipeline projects.
• Conduct information interviews with LSC personnel to learn about the industry and company contributions.
• Assist field personnel on cathodic protection and direct assessment projects.
• Assist Engineering and Operations to identify inefficiencies and develop best practices.
• Support project completion using engineering principles.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Prepare specifications and outline designs.
• Assist in preparing final reports, memorandums, and data deliverables.
