Job summary

Vision Point Systems, Inc. is seeking CST technicians to inspect, service, and apply corrosion prevention on military equipment. The role includes surface preparation, CPC application, and routine equipment maintenance, with responsibilities across Camp Pendleton and other bases.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, have mechanical knowledge, and can obtain CPAC certification within 60 days. Travel is required; safety gear and teamwork are essential in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; two years related experience preferred.
• Must obtain CPAC certification within 60 days of hire and complete CLM 038 within one year.
• Background check and identification credentials required for base access (Passport/Real ID or DL + SSN).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to follow directions and corrective action.
• Ability to priorities tasks, multitask, and communicate effectively, including teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Operate CPC application equipment (compressors, guns, grinders, vacuums).
• Apply CPCs to military and support equipment as directed.
• Identify Marine Corps corrosion codes 1-5 and corrosion stages.
• Perform corrosion assessments using CAC (paper and electronic).
• Conduct surface preparation and touch-up on equipment.
• Maintain CPAC equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Travel to Camp Pendleton and other bases as required.
