Your role in our mission
  • Experience/knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, or Commercial claims processing from working in a provider office or health insurance company environment.
  • Familiarity with health care claims billing procedures (HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10-CM, etc.)
  • Proven writing skills to include grammar and punctuation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervision in a strong team environment
What we're looking for
  • Ability to respond to customer requests within contractual timeframes
  • Ability to represent the written correspondence department at internal meetings or client meetings as needed
  • Ability to analyze inquiries, then resolve inquiries by following established guidelines for gathering data, conducting research, or routing inquiries to the appropriate area
  • Ability to read and understand new Medicaid policies and procedures and incorporate this information in the responses to written inquiries as needed
  • Ability to develop concise, accurate, and grammatically correct responses to written inquiries
What you should expect in this role
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in time requirements as determined by the Written Correspondence Supervisor to ensure contractual requirements are met.
  • REMOTE

The pay range for this position is $35,000-$50,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
