Sedgwick County is seeking a Corrections Shift Supervisor for a 24-hour adult facility. You will lead a team of Corrections Officers on assigned shifts, manage daily operations, and ensure compliance with protocols and safety standards.

The role requires at least two years working with justice-involved clients, one year in a supervisory role, and the ability to coordinate onboarding and training while maintaining accurate records and performance feedback.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred in related field.
• Two years of experience with justice involved youth or adult offenders required.
• One year of supervisory work experience required.
• Professional references to verify related work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise staff and assign coverage, work, priorities and projects.
• Interview, hire, and lead new-staff orientation and training.
• Review and approve timecards.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Investigate incidents and document follow-up actions.
• Lead facility policy and procedure enforcement.

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or closely related field
