Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• 18 months of satisfactory experience as a Correctional Officer II or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Georgia POST certification required.
• Firearms or weapons certification and valid driver's license required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct shift or post briefing and assign duties while verifying staffing.
• Supervise inmate activity, counts, movement, meals, and visitation.
• Direct searches of inmates, property, and areas per protocol.
• Receive, document, and transport inmates using custody records.
• Perform security and fire inspections and report deficiencies.
• Respond to disturbances and emergencies and request backup.
• Ensure medications and first-aid activities are performed by trained personnel.
• Participate on disciplinary committees and prepare reports.
• Complete counts, logs, and transport records with accuracy.
