Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct correctional officers by assigning work and evaluating performance.
• Ensure facility safety and security through inspections, shakedowns, and searches.
• Coordinate inmate transportation to medical appointments, court appearances, and other facilities.
• Prepare and maintain detailed incident, inmate behavior, and security reports.
• Provide guidance to officers in handling difficult situations and participate in shift briefings.
• Maintain accurate records of inmate counts and security checks.
