Qualifications

• Completion of 15 semester credits in any field.
• Two years of experience equivalent to a Corrections Officer or Corrections Medical Officer, including one year equivalent to the E9 level; or one year equivalent to a Special Alternative Incarceration Officer 9.

Responsibilities

• Direct corrections officers in security and custody activities in a state correctional facility.
• Maintain prisoners discipline and prevent prisoner escapes.
• Ensure the personal safety of prisoners, staff and visitors.
• Position located inside the security perimeter of prison.
