Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line supervision to Corrections Officers and Trainees in an institutional setting.
• Supervise and monitor staff on assigned shift to ensure safety and security.
• Communicate with management, staff, visitors, inmates and the public.
• Lead and counsel staff and ensure training is completed.
• Maintain a safe and productive workforce.
