Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Correctional Registered Nurse to provide care in a correctional facility, collaborating with doctors, nurses and officers to support inmate health needs.

The role is a travel position with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. You will address both routine and emergency care in a secure environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Minimum one year of correctional health care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specific challenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing care to their patient population. This care includes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting.
