Job summary

The Colorado Department of Corrections is seeking a Radiology Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs for offenders at the Denver Complex. You will evaluate orders, operate X-ray equipment, and prepare digital images for radiologists, ensuring quality and accuracy in a correctional setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, an associate degree in Radiologic Technology, and at least one year of professional radiology experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT credential required for Radiologic Technologist role.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• One year of professional experience as a Radiology Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate radiology orders and determine positioning and procedures.
• Operate fixed and portable X-ray machines per guidelines.
• Produce high-quality radiographs to assist diagnosis.
• Prepare digital images for radiologist review and document test details.
• Travel to other facilities within the state as needed.
