Job summary

Pine County is seeking a Corrections Officer to maintain safety and security for inmates and the public. You will control jail entrances, monitor inmate housing, process arrests, and prepare required paperwork under supervision of the Jail Administrator.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a background check, and a valid driver's license. Preferred is a degree in law enforcement or related field plus prior corrections experience.

Responsibilities

• Secure jail entrances and monitor inmate housing.
