Job summary

Osceola County is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide general and specialized nursing care to inmate patients in a correctional facility. The role includes supervising staff, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with safety and health standards.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Nursing, has at least two years of professional RN experience (supervisory experience preferred), and maintains an active Florida RN license along with AED/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Must have at least two years of professional RN experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate medical operations.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
• Oversee patient assessments and vital signs; respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate with Pharmacy, QA, and Infection Control committees.
• Maintain clinical area cleanliness and safety; ensure regulatory compliance.
