Job summary

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction seeks a Behavioral Health professional to join an interdisciplinary mental health treatment team at Marion Correctional. You will work under clinical supervision, handling screenings, risk assessments, and a range of individual and group interventions for a caseload of inmates with mental health needs.

Requirements include active LPC/LSW/MFT licenses and the ability to document, coordinate care, and collaborate with staff.

Qualifications

Licensed professionals must hold a current license as required by the board.
Criminal background checks will be conducted for final candidates.
Clinical supervision and credentialing requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

Deliver mental health interventions for a caseload of mentally ill offenders.
Perform screenings and risk assessments including suicide risk under supervision.
Conduct individual and group clinical interventions per treatment plan.
Provide psychosocial group interventions as prescribed in treatment plans.
Maintain mental health liaison duties and monitor progress toward goals.
Prepare transfer and discharge summaries and related documentation.
