Job summary

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid certificate from an agency approved by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Medical Board of California to practice as a Medical Assistant.
• ACTIVE certification status prior to appointment into the classification.

• Support primary care providers in a variety of clinical settings.
• Address the ongoing needs of patients and promote efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective use of health care resources.
• Communicate effectively with patients and members of the Primary Care Team and other health care providers.
