Job summary

Roadrunner Health Services is seeking an LPN to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under supervision of RNs and medical staff. You will handle assessments, medications, and essential treatments while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to maintain continuity of care.

The role emphasizes adherence to policies, HIPAA, and security requirements within a correctional setting, with a focus on patient dignity and ethical care delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid LPN license in the applicable state.
• Current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.
• One year of work experience as a LPN preferred.
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and record symptoms, assist physicians, administer medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care per treatment plans.
• Communicate with team members and document as needed.
• Provide direct patient care: vitals, labs, EKGs, basic hygiene, and non-intravenous meds.
• Monitor medication administration and maintain controlled substances accountability.
