Job summary

The Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) is seeking a skilled locksmith for Decatur Correctional Center. You will operate the locksmith shop, inspect equipment, and ensure tool safety and security while maintaining accurate inventory and accountability.

Minimum qualifications include high school completion and at least two years as a locksmith; preferred qualifications include three years in locking systems and OSHA 10 or higher. Union position with strong benefits.
