Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise correctional staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Maintain facility safety and security through routine checks and monitoring inmate activity.
• Develop and enforce policies to maintain order and discipline within the institution.
• Coordinate inmate movement, meals, work schedules, and transportation.
• Prepare accurate reports on inmate behavior, incidents, and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct inmate searches and inspections to prevent contraband and ensure rules compliance.
• Provide guidance to staff and participate in security briefings and interagency collaborations.
