Selrico Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team and work with inmates at a correctional facility in San Antonio, TX.

You will prepare, cook and serve meals, maintain cleanliness and safety, and follow facility protocols while supporting a cooperative kitchen crew. Weekend shifts and a 1p-9p schedule are required, with extensive background checks and a focus on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to work in a correctional environment following strict safety and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to specified menus and portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow all safety and security guidelines specific to a correctional facility setting.
• Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and report shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
• Perform routine cleaning of kitchen equipment and work areas.
