Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• CJIS background check clearance required.
• Veterans' preference may apply under state law.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Handling: Receive, inspect, store, and distribute stock with accurate records.
• Commissary Processing: Manage inmate orders from form distribution to delivery and recording.
• Clothing Issuance: Issue inmate clothing per policy and document it.
• Inmate Supervision: Assign tasks, monitor quality, uphold safe work areas.
• Equipment Operation: Use forklifts, hand trucks, and other tools to move materials.
• Record Maintenance: Compile reports, input inmate credits, document sales, shortages, and damage.
