- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Food Service Supervisor, you will perform supervisory work over the large-scale food preparation and food serving area at SCI Camp Hill. In this position, you will supervise, coordinate, inspect, and evaluate the work performed in the preparation and production of food and sanitation of work areas. This includes supervising food service personnel, as well as maintaining order and discipline among inmate workers. You can expect to establish work procedures, schedule work, and allocate staff to meet time requirements. Additionally, you will maintain records and reports relating to menus, recipes, orders, requisitions, inventory, food service personnel, and inmate help.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- You will work a swing shift with rotating days off. Work hours will be 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Corrections Food Service Instructor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of experience in food preparation, production, or service of a variety of complete meal menus in an institutional food service operation, food catering service, restaurant, or in a similar large-scale food production operation, which included one year of lead work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training, which included one year of lead work experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
