Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production and temperature logs and Aramark standards.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, safe meal service and compliance with guidelines.
• Direct inmates in using recipes and cooking procedures.
• Manage portions and dietary requirements.
• Assist in inventory, receiving, and storing food items.
• Follow HACCP policies and sanitation schedules.
