Job summary

The Bureau of Prisons is seeking corrections professionals who foster a humane and secure environment and ensure public safety by preparing individuals for successful reentry into our communities. The position is located in Butner, North Carolina, with duties focused on data entry, budget tracking, minutes, and preparing routine reports to support institutional operations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.
• Experience entering and retrieving data, using Food Service programs, and maintaining disks with back-up copies.
• Experience typing and proofreading a wide range of correspondence, memorandums, reports and other written materials.
• Experience tracking and preparing reports, tracking and maintaining budgets and typing budget requests.

Graduate education creditable if directly related to work of the position
