In the role of a Corrections Food Service Instructor, you will take on the responsibilities of a lead worker, overseeing the assignment, participation, and evaluation of both routine and specialized tasks carried out by inmates in various aspects of food service, including pre-preparation, production, service, and baking. Your duties will also involve maintaining strict control over inmate activities by implementing custody and security protocols, in addition to conducting thorough inspections of all food service areas, equipment, and food items to ensure compliance with established safety and sanitation standards.
