As a Corrections Food Service Instructor, you will function as a lead worker and provide instruction to inmates through on-the-job vocational training. You will instruct inmates in food preparation, production, service, and baking. In this role, you will ensure proper control over inmates by enforcing custody and security regulations and inspecting all food service areas, equipment, and food for conformance with established safety and sanitation standards. In addition, you will ensure that meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.
