Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Food Instruction: Teach inmates how to prepare, cook, bake, and serve food while following recipes and schedules
• Safety Training: Train inmates in safe equipment use, sanitation practices, and proper cleaning procedures
• Area Inspection: Check food, equipment, and work areas to ensure they meet safety and sanitation standards
• Supply Management: Receive, store, and rotate food and supplies using first-in, first-out procedures
• Work Supervision: Assign tasks, review performance, and maintain records for inmate workers
• Custody Oversight: Maintain care, custody, and control of inmates during all work assignments
