Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for required experience.
• Must be certified by the SCDC training academy within six months.

Responsibilities

• Pickup inmate work crew from Manning CI and transport to Walden farm.
• Supervise inmate crew while caring for livestock, gardens, forage crops and greenhouses.
• Maintain accountability of inmates, outcounts, disciplinary reports and searches.
• Oversee tool control and equipment inventories.
• May require extended hours during peak seasons or emergencies.
• Potential weekend rotations and travel between Walden farms as needed.
