Qualifications

• Completion of Corrections Counselor 1 training program.

• Equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Must obtain CLEAN and JNET certification within two months of employment.
• Must meet PA residency requirements.
• Pass background and CJIS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Goal Support: assist reentrants with employment, education, housing, and service planning.
• Crisis Intervention: conducts assessments, provides crisis support, referrals.
• Orientation Delivery: review files, conduct discussions, guide orientation.
• Skill Building: lead workshops promoting pro-social behavior.
• Case Documentation: maintain electronic files and standards.
• Community Coordination: represent center in community outreach and hearings.
