The role involves delivering quality care within the licensed scope and maintaining a safe environment during the shift. Must possess a current CMT certificate, phlebotomy experience, and insulin certification. Experience in correctional health care is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid CMT certificate.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Must possess insulin certification.
• Works within local practice acts and regulations.

Responsibilities

• The CMT delivers quality care within the scope of practice and ensures a safe environment for patients and staff during the shift.
• Performs duties in accordance with policy and procedure under supervision of nursing leadership.
• Assists with basic clinical tasks as assigned and supports correctional health care services.
