Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a qualified leadership professional to supervise counseling staff and manage casework in a secure East Texas facility. You will ensure compliance with MTC and Texas Department of Criminal Justice directives while overseeing intake procedures, classification, and inmate programs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and several years of relevant corrections experience; driving is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a CHEA/USDE-accredited institution; three years of correctional custody/ Inmate case management experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise designated employees and manage counseling services in line with MTC and TDCJ directives.
• Provide staff training, evaluate performance, and implement department changes.
• Ensure the facility operates within capacity and complies with security and medical restrictions.
• Maintain accurate reports and unit orientation, and oversee inmate job classifications and grievances.
• Oversee inmate files, drills, drug testing, and visitation lists; perform self-audits as required.
